	Mackinac Island Trip (1983) I don't remember exactly how we got to Mackinaw City.  We were somewhere around Traverse City when we realized that we didn't have enough time left to catch the last ferry.  We drove like hell, and skidded to a stop as they were pulling up the plank.  We made it, just barely!
